Sh.S.A.Nair, Principal, Kendriya Vidyalaya Malleswaram

Sh.S.A.Nair has risen from the rank of a Primary Teacher in 1966 to a Principal of distinction. He has a tremendous willpower to succeed and symbolizes consistency, proficiency and perfection. Creativity and innovation is his hallmark. He has promoted excellence in the teachers in his school and took pride in his team. He does not compromise with quality, efficiency and effectiveness. He has promoted the use of technology in classrooms in his school. His school showcases the best practices of innovation in education and is a centre of many workshops, seminars, in-service courses and other educational events of Regional as well as National level.

 

Sh.R.S.Ramanujam, PGT(Eng.), Kendriya Vidyalaya No.2, Tambaram, Chennai (now Principal, Kendriya Vidyalaya, New Bongaigaon) 

Sh.R.S.Ramanujam, PGT (English) has put in a long service of 30 years in KVS. He worked as PRT for six years, TGT(English) for eight years and PGT(English) for 15 years. Throughout his service as a teacher he served with dedication and took care of the children of all ability groups namely the slow learners, the average and the gifted. As an English teacher, he has shown immense interest in encouraging the creativity in children through literary activities such as debate, panel discussion, seminar, language group, radio show, dramatization, role play and book review etc. He is adept in preparing graded exercises for the benefit of slow learners. His interest in co-curricular activities has helped many a children. He is also a writer of articles on English Language Teaching which are very much beneficial to the students. 

 

 

Ms. Sangeeta Bhatnagar, PRT, Kendriya Vidyalaya No.1, Ambala 

Ms.Sangeeta Bhatnagar has been teaching since 1985. She tries to develop the personality of the children under her care through co-curricular activities, various experiments and innovations. She makes her teaching not only form head to head but also from heart to heart. She believes in the education which is transformation oriented and not only information oriented. She has done a number of experiments and innovations in the field of primary education such as dramatization, role of music in teaching and puppetry for education. Teaching of spellings through games has greatly helped in strengthening the primary education. She is the Education co-ordinator of  Haryana of Sri Satya Sai Sewa Organisation of Haryana and Chandigarh. She had been honoured by Netraheen Jagriti Sangh, Haryana for her outstanding contribution to the cause of blind people.

Sh.Jagdish Sawarkar, PRT, Kendriya Vidyalaya VSN Nagpur 

Sh.Jagdish Sawarkar joined KVS in 1979. He has contributed his best to the Vidyalaya, the Sangathan and the community by his selfless, dedicated and untiring work. He is a meritorious and devoted teacher who believes in activity based teaching as well as in modern strategies and devices of teaching. His contribution to the National Literacy Mission in tribal area has been appreciated by the Hon’ble Chief Minister of Madhya Pradesh. He rendered his services for ‘Bharat Gyan Vigyan Samiti’ as Kushal Prashikshak and trained the teachers and workers for National Literacy Mission. He has many poems, slogans and articles to his credit.

 

 

Sh.Ganesh Prasad, Drawing Teacher, Kendriya Vidyalaya No.1, Delhi Cantt. 

Sh.Ganesh Prasad joined KVS in 1976. He is a post graduate in Arts and Handicrafts from Vishwa Bharti University, Shantiniketan, West Bengal. Throughout his career he has been generating a love for Art among his students. Widely respected and admired by the teaching fraternity, he has been a Resource Person in a number of workshops on Visual and Performing Arts. He has earned great regard and love from students as well as parents. He has been associated with NSS activities in the school. He has prepared excellent sculptures of fibre glass some of which are adorning the walls of KVS(Hqrs.) building.
